Who are you/how old are you/what do you look like?

I’m Nichole, I’m 23 for the 2nd time and I’ve listened to Bright Eyes for a decade. You can creep some of my photos and then add me on facebook HERE.

Is Bright Eyes breaking up/releasing another album/touring again?

No they are not breaking up! Conor wants to do a record in the future, which would mean another tour. You can read all about that HERE.

Is Conor Oberst married? Who is Conor in a relationship with?

Right now, he is dating THIS woman. No one knows if he’s married. She wears a ring. Read the shell games lyrics and tell me what you think after.

Have you ever met Conor? How do you meet him?

Yes I met him before the show in NYC on March 8th 2011.

What is the ring Conor wears?

Its a Four Winds ring. 

“This here,” says Conor Oberst, twisting off a turquoise-encrusted piece of jewellery, “is my Four Winds ring. A mysterious stranger sent it to me. If you read the inscription on the band it says in Hebrew: ‘Father of the four winds fill my sails across the sea of years.’”

The ring is meant to remind the truth seeker of the illusions and the deceptions of the outside world: “At the end of your journey you will discover that you have never moved at all…”

Does Conor Oberst have a tattoo?

Was that Conor in the interview on Tip the Scales?

No. It was his friend Todd Fink impersonating him. He was going to do a real interview to explain the album at the end of it, but he thought it would have been too pretentious and he and his friends mocked it with that interview.

Does Conor still wear the choker? What did it mean/where did it come from?

What is he like at shows?

Musically, absolutely amazing. I cant explain to you the power and emotion seeing him live. He is a true artist and performer. Every song is perfectly tight and well done. The whole band works together beautifully. Its really amazing. Conor is usually trashed at shows. He usually swears a lot. And says at least one outrageous thing per show. I’m only saying that because I get asked so often about if it would be weird to go with parents.

Is Conor on drugs/does Conor still smoke?
Yes.

Where did the characters Neely O’Hara and Tereza and Tomas come from?
Neely O’Hara is a character in the book The Valley of the Dolls by Jackie Susann.
Tereza and Tomas come from The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera.
